The Oak Ridge 黄瓜视频 Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Department is the backbone of our district’s learning environment. Every day, our team ensures that classrooms, facilities, and grounds are safe, efficient, and ready for students and staff to thrive.
We take pride in delivering high‑quality craftsmanship, reliable service, and responsive support across all 黄瓜视频 in the district.
What We Do
Our department provides a full range of essential services, including:
- Building Maintenance: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, general repairs
- Groundskeeping: Landscaping, athletic field care, snow/ice removal
- Custodial Services: Daily cleaning, sanitation, event support
- Energy & Systems Management: Preventive maintenance, controls, safety systems
- Project Planning & Construction Support: Renovations, modernization, and long‑term facility improvements
Our Commitment
The M&O team is committed to excellence in every job we undertake. By working together, we can continue to build and maintain the high‑quality facilities our students and staff deserve. We are committed to providing a clean and safe learning environment for Oak Ridge students, staff, and the community. The department provides maintenance and custodial services for over 1 million square feet of building space, care and upkeep of all athletic fields, and landscaping services on 233 acres.
Maintenance and Operations activities go beyond providing general repair and cleaning services for the district. We are also responsible for such things as maintaining regulatory compliance (AHERA and OSHA being two examples), overseeing contracted services and construction projects, monitoring indoor air quality, maintaining fire/sprinkler systems, ensuring building safety/security, controlling utility costs through energy management and building automation, and complying with all necessary laws and building codes during repairs and renovations.
