<\/p>\nOur district has adopted the Purposefull People Character Strong Curriculum to address social-emotional learning within our classrooms. This curriculum has 3 primary focuses: Be Kind, Be Strong, Be Well.<\/p>\n
Each month we focus on a specific character trait. August’s trait was Respect. All month, we’ve been learning about how Respect is “seeing value in all people and things & treating them with care.” Throughout this month, we’ve watched so many Woodland students showing Respect to their teachers and peers.<\/p>\n
We were so excited to honor 1 student from each class this week for showing Respect in so many ways!<\/p>\n
