It is an honor to be the Principal at WBES!<\/p>\n<p>I take pride in providing a culture and environment where all students can succeed at a high level.\u00a0 Our top priority is to provide a safe and structured learning environment for all students each day.\u00a0 We have an amazing staff that works hard in a collaborative approach to serve the whole child.<\/p>\n<p>Through our <em>Oak Ridge Schools\u2019 Portrait of a Graduate <\/em>framework, we work to build upon and lay a strong foundation in the skills detailed in our POG.\u00a0 Additionally, we are very proud of our STEM journey at Willow Brook and most recently completed our\u00a0<em>Cognia STEM Recertification<\/em> in February of 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Communication is a key component of your child\u2019s success and I encourage you to reach out to our administrative team and your child\u2019s teachers if we can assist in any way.\u00a0 You can find up to date information in our <em>Parent Newsletter<\/em>\u00a0sent out every Sunday evening.<\/p>\n<p>We have a wonderful PTO, as well as many community partners who provide support to our teachers and students.\u00a0 We encourage you to continue supporting your child\u2019s success by being an active participant in their education and keeping the lines of communication open at all times.\u00a0 Please do not hesitate to reach out if I can assist in your child&#8217;s educational journey at any time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to Willow Brook Elementary School!
