4-H Club<\/h2>\n

4-H is a nationwide youth program. In 4-H members choose to explore one of the 26 projects available. Topics range from cooking, wildlife, leadership, chickens, sewing, robotics, veterinary science, and electric. Members also get to participate in many contests, including 4-H Public Speaking, 4-H Photo Search, 4-H Has Talent, 4-H Demonstrations, 4-H Poster Art, and more.<\/p>\n

Board Games Club<\/h2>\n

This club is designed for anyone who is interested in getting together with other students and playing board games. We have a lot of board games to choose from, so you don\u2019t have to bring your own.<\/p>\n

Drama Club<\/h2>\n

Drama Club is a place for students to learn more about acting and theater. Students will practice their acting skills while learning the basics of theater and performing in an open, fun environment. Students will also learn about the behind-the-scenes aspects of theater. Drama Club typically puts on one performance per school year.<\/p>\n

French and Spanish Club<\/h2>\n

This club will allow students the opportunity to learn listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills in French and Spanish. The purpose of this club is to provide exposure to these languages to those students who are unable to take French or Spanish during the school day.<\/p>\n

Geography Club<\/h2>\n

The Geography Club helps students gain geography knowledge in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Students work puzzles, play games, have Quiz Bowl\/Jeopardy style competitions, do group work, watch videos, discuss current events, and study maps.<\/p>\n

Give Club<\/h2>\n

Service Club \/ Students work together to decide on projects. Examples include dresses for Africa, Tabitha\u2019s Table, and Willow Brook parties.<\/p>\n

Math Counts<\/h2>\n

Math Counts is a club for 6th<\/sup> \u2013 8th<\/sup> graders.\u00a0 Math Counts is designed to be flexible so many types of groups can participate.\u00a0 We will participate in math games, math explorations, and team competitions.\u00a0 We will participate in the school, regional, and state competitions.<\/p>\n

SECME<\/h2>\n

SECME is designed to get students interested in Science, Engineering, Communications, Mathematics, and Enrichment.<\/p>\n

Meets:<\/strong> Wednesdays. 7:00-7:30 a.m. & every other Thursday 3:15 p.m.-4:15 p.m.,<\/p>\n

Ski Club<\/h2>\n

Members of the club travel to Ober Gatlinburg to ski and snowboard on Wednesdays during January and February.<\/p>\n

\nOpen to:<\/strong> Grades 6-8.<\/p>\n

Student Council<\/h2>\n

The Robertsville Student Council is a student government organization at RMS. It consists of a group of officers and classroom representatives elected by their homerooms. They meet once a month before school to cover Student Council business. The Student Council provides funds for student-based activities and\u00a0 scholarships for some student field trips. In the past, they sponsor the 7th and 8th grade Spring dance and the 5th and 6th grade Fall Celebration.\u00a0 As a fundraiser, they also sponsor a student\/staff basketball game held at the end of the year. RMS Student Council will meet once a month on designated Wednesdays 7:05-7:30am.\u00a0 RMS STUCO Officers and Grade Level Helpers will meet to discuss and assist in school activities such as tours, grade level celebrations, Ram Perk rewards, and “Pep Club” fan section for home football games.<\/p>\n

Technology Student Association<\/h2>\n

TSA enhances personal development, leadership, and career opportunities in STEM, whereby members apply and integrate these concepts through intracurricular activities, competitions, and related programs. TSA competes at the regional, state, and national level. TSA season runs from September to April with a national competition in late June.\u00a0 This club requires an application, interview, and teacher recommendations. This club is limited to 20 qualifying students.<\/p>\n

Meets:Tuesdays from 2:45-5:30 (may require additional meeting times)<\/p>\n

WRAM<\/h2>\n

The students on the WRAM staff produce a live broadcast of school news and announcements each day.\u00a0 The staff rotates over the four marking periods with three students participating each quarter. The members of the WRAM staff anchor the broadcast, read the news, select the music, and operate the camera. Acceptance is based on attendance\/tardies, grades, and recommendations from teachers.<\/p>\n
