Those that competed were Sidney Ozcan(8<sup>th<\/sup>), Jacob Southern (8<sup>th<\/sup>), Emily Moran (7<sup>th<\/sup>), Dylan Christensen (7<sup>th<\/sup>), Anshra Ajaz (7<sup>th<\/sup>), Grace Han (7<sup>th<\/sup>) , Brian Qu (6<sup>th<\/sup>), and Owen Southern (6<sup>th<\/sup>).\u00a0 There are seveal rounds with the Math Counts.\u00a0 The first round is called the Sprint Round which was a non calculator event.\u00a0 Next wea Target round which consisted of 8 problems.\u00a0 Then there was the team round.\u00a0 The students competed in the team round were Sidney, Dylan, Emily, and Jacob. The team placed 3<sup>rd<\/sup> overall in the team scoring.\u00a0 Sidney Ozcan placed 4<sup>th<\/sup> overall and Dylan Christensen placed 3<sup>rd<\/sup> overall and both qualified for MathCounts State Competition which will be held in Nashville March 17<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 There was also a 4<sup>th<\/sup> round which is called the Countdown round where the top 12 competed head to head. WE had three students compete in this round.
