On Wednesday, the hours are from 7:40am to 12:45pm.\u00a0 Please find a more detailed schedule of our school day by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ortn.edu\/jefferson\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2025\/03\/9.-Class-lunch-Schedule-25-26.docx\">clicking here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TARDINESS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students arriving to school after 7:40am must check in through the Main Office. Student tardies will be marked unexcused unless a note is received <strong>within three days<\/strong> from a parent or physician stating an acceptable excuse for being tardy. Students are allotted 7 unexcused tardies per 9 weeks. <strong>On a student\u2019s fifth<\/strong> unexcused tardy to school each 9 weeks, students will receive a written warning documented in Skyward requiring a parent signature. <strong>After the 7th tardy<\/strong> to school each 9 weeks, students will receive an after-school detention for every tardy to school received (starting with the 8th). The tardies to school will start over for students each nine-week term.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note that students will not be permitted to enter the building until 7:00am each morning. All students not participating in a scheduled extracurricular activity should be off campus no later than 3:15pm (M, T, TH, F) and 1:15pm (W).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>After school supervision will be provided by JMS administration &amp; staff on M, T, Th, &amp; F until 3:00pm. Supervision on Wednesdays will be provided until 1:00pm. If a student has not been picked up by 3:00pm (M, T, Th, F) or 1:00pm (W), student will be taken to wait on parent\/guardian in the Main Office.
