Students: If you have requested a Sprint Hot Spot device AND<\/strong> have turned in your consent form, please meet in the amphitheater at the beginning of third period today to receive your device.<\/p>\n

Senior parents, would you like to buy a salutation for your senior in this year\u2019s Oak Log yearbook?\u00a0 You can order online at www.balfour.com<\/a> and design your own salutation or send one in to the high school to have it made for you.\u00a0 Just pick up a form outside Mrs. Byrd\u2019s room (CS328) or in the main office.\u00a0 All salutations are due by October 23. It\u2019s also a contest!\u00a0 Stop by the library to pick up a form so you can guess who the picture belongs to.\u00a0 Prizes will be awarded to the person with the highest number of correct guesses.\u00a0 But get there quickly \u2013 winners will be chosen at the end of the day on Friday, September 15th<\/sup>. COUNSELING INFO<\/strong><\/p>\n

An Admissions Representative from Emory University will be meeting with students in the Counseling Office on Tuesday, September 12th during 5A & 5B. Please plan to attend if you are interested in learning more about Emory University.\u00a0(9\/6 – 9\/11) \u2013 A. Morris<\/p>\n

An Admissions Representative from Agnes Scott College will be meeting with students in the Counseling Office after school on Friday, September 15th. CLUB & ORGANIZATION INFO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Small Talk will have its first meeting of the school year next week. We will have two meetings next week to accommodate students. Please plan to meet after school until 3:45 pm \u00a0EITHER Monday, September 11 or Thursday, September 14. Meetings will be held in Dr. Colquitt\u2019s room, CS 235. (9\/5, 9\/8, 9\/11, 9\/13-14) \u2013 R. Colquitt<\/p>\n

The YuGi-Oh! Club will meet on Fridays in Dr. Colquitt\u2019s room, CS 235. This club is free and is open to all students. You can bring your own cards or build a deck with the cards already here. Be prepared to duel until 5 pm! (9\/7-9\/8) \u2013 R. Colquitt<\/p>\n

SENIOR INFO<\/strong><\/p>\n

SENIOR SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST: Please submit your designs for the Class of 2018 Senior Shirt to Mrs. Ledden in Room CS347 by Tuesday, September 12. You do not have to be a senior to submit designs for the shirt\u2014open to all grade levels. Front and back designs needed–$25 prize for each. Be sure to incorporate ORHS, Seniors, and Class of 2018 into your drawings. Place your name and homeroom teacher\u2019s name on the back of each design entry. Entries must be original work and if selected, will become the property of Oak Ridge High School.(9\/7-9\/11) \u2013 T. Ledden<\/p>\n

ATHLETICS THIS WEEK<\/strong><\/p>\n

Track and Field Conditioning<\/u><\/strong> begins on Monday, September 11, at 3:30 PM at the Ben Martin Track. For the first few months we will meet on Mondays at 3:30 and on Wednesdays at 4:00, for about an hour each time. You must have a current ORHS Sports Physical on file here at ORHS in order to workout.
