It’s time to reignite your second grade spirit with Sideline Social 2026! On May 1, 2026, from 5:30-8:30, Student Council is hosting a packed afternoon with concessions, relays, and even a GIANT PARACHUTE on this free, fun-filled day. It will be hosted at Blankenship field with free admission for all ORHS students. Can’t wait to see you there!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n AP Testing 2026-Device Set-Up- All students who have registered to take an AP exam this year must report to Roane State\u2019s Goff Building with their device on Wednesday, April 22nd anytime between 2:00pm and 4:30pm to prepare their device for upcoming testing. This process should take approximately 10-15 minutes. To expedite this process, restart your computer before you arrive so it can perform updates.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n National Library Week is back at it! Today the library is serving up some serious craft vibes \u2014 stop by to make your own bracelets, bookmarks, and buttons during 3A and 3B. It’s free, it’s fun, and you get to keep what you make.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you would like to run for Class Officer or Student Council Officer positions, today is the last day to apply! Whether you’re aiming for Junior Class Treasurer or Student Council Secretary, your leadership and ideas are welcomed. All candidates will be announced on Thursday April 23rd<\/sup>\u00a0and elections will be held on Thursday April 30th.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n CLUB INFO<\/u><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n All students are invited to join the Black Student Union, where we celebrate Black culture and identity, build community, and promote inclusion and respect across our campus. BSU is open to anyone who wants to celebrate and learn. We meet every Tuesday in CS329, and our next meeting is tomorrow. Come be a part of something amazing (and yes, we will have food!).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n SENIORS<\/u><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Seniors- this is a reminder that all outstanding technology fees must be paid in full prior to graduation. Payments can be made by cash or check in the main office. You should have received an email from \u201cIncident IQ\u201d stating your balance owed.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Seniors: if you do not have a cap & gown set and are planning to walk at graduation, you must see Dr. Fisher or Mrs. Ledden (CS347) by Friday, April 24.\u00a0 You cannot walk without the official ORHS cap, gown, and tassel set.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The English Department and PTSO cordially invite All Seniors to attend the 2026 Senior Tea.\u00a0 Tea, Lemonade, and homemade wonderful, tasty refreshments will be served. Dress as your favorite book character or author and you could win one of 6, \u00a0$50 or $25 gift cards. There will also be 10 -$10 bills given as door prizes just for showing up.\u00a0 It is a wonderful way to start the end of your senior year.\u00a0 This traditional event is Wednesday, April 29th<\/sup> from 2:15-3:30 in the ORHS food court.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Seniors! Look around as you are moving between classes! The Graduation Celebration Registration QR code is posted on multiple Information Centers and in other posting areas around the building. Registration is a two-step process of creating an account, via the QR code or the website, and then entering the site to register for the party. All students who are U18 on graduation day must also complete the green permission form with their parent.
