ORHS Masquers presents Tuck Everlasting TONIGHT, SATURDAY & SUNDAY at Oak Ridge High School Performing Arts Center. Tuck Everlasting tells the story of young Winnie Foster, a girl longing for adventure and escape from her stifling life. Winnie\u2019s world changes forever when she discovers a magical spring and meets the immortal Tuck family. Tickets are available for $15 online at orhsmasquers.booktix.com<\/a> or at the door one hour before the show. Don\u2019t miss seeing this endearing story come to life by 75 amazing & talented students in the cast, crew & pit orchestra. You don\u2019t need to live forever; you just need to live!<\/p>\n

Anyone looking to get extra help preparing for the April 11 ACT can sign\u00a0up\u00a0for the ACT\u00a0Boot Camp, which will be held the first four<\/u><\/strong> days of Spring Break, March 16-19. Sessions will be from 8-11 a.m. in the amphitheater. Each day will focus on a different section of the test. This opportunity is free, but transportation will not<\/u>\u00a0be provided and lunch will not be served. Sign up links are in the class Canvas pages, the iNews, and have been sent through ParentSquare. Please sign\u00a0up\u00a0by Friday, Sept. 19. The application\u00a0window\u00a0for students who wish to join the National Honor\u00a0Society is now open through Friday, March 13th<\/sup>. To be eligible, you must be a JUNIOR with a 3.8 weighted GPA. Please go to the Canvas Class of 2027 page to apply. If you have any questions, please see Dr. Thomas or Mr. Feuer.<\/p>\n

This Friday, seven ORHS students will have artwork on display in the Astrid Galindo Student Art Exhibit Reception.\u00a0The art show will take place in Downtown Knoxville at the Emporium Gallery (100 South Gay Street, Suite 112, Knoxville, TN 37902). The artwork will be on display until March 30th.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Acorn <\/em>is Oak Ridge High School\u2019s literary magazine, featuring the creative talents of our students and staff- everything from fiction and poetry to the visual arts. Anyone wishing to submit original<\/strong> creations for consideration in the next issue must email the file to wmstebbins@ortn.edu<\/strong><\/a>. The deadline for submissions is 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026. For detailed information, including correct file formats, see Mr. Stebbins in CS339, the Wildcat Hangout page, or the iNews.<\/p>\n
