ORHS Masquers presents Tuck Everlasting THIS FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY at Oak Ridge High School Performing Arts Center. Tuck Everlasting tells the story of young Winnie Foster, a girl longing for adventure and escape from her stifling life. Winnie\u2019s world changes forever when she discovers a magical spring and meets the immortal Tuck family. Tickets are available for $15 online at orhsmasquers.booktix.com or at the door one hour before the show. Don\u2019t miss seeing this endearing story come to life by 75 amazing & talented students in the cast, crew & pit orchestra. You don\u2019t need to live forever; you just need to live!<\/p>\n

You should have received your registration sheets in your first period class last week. Visit your grade level Canvas Page and follow instructions to complete your course registration for next year. You will request your courses in Skyward Feb 27th<\/sup> \u2013 March 4th<\/sup>. \u00a0Remember, you will have to turn in your completed and signed registration sheet when you meet with your counselor March 5th<\/sup> \u2013 12th<\/sup> .<\/p>\n

A representative from Centro Hispano of East Tennessee will be visiting ORHS to speak with students about post-graduation college and career opportunities. The meeting will take place on Monday, March 2 at 3:20 in Mrs. Golden\u2019s classroom, CS 300. Information will be available in both English and Spanish. Students should see Mrs. Golden for more information.<\/p>\n

Looking for some extra help preparing for the ACT on March 10th<\/sup>? Mr. Stebbins will be conducting a second workshop at the Scarboro Community Center on Saturday, March 7 from 10-1. This section will provide an overview of basic strategies and then focus on the Reading and Science subtests. The link to sign-up will be in the next issue of the iNews, or you can see Mr. Stebbins in CS339 for more information.<\/p>\n

Hello and Willkommen, German Club will meet TODAY, Monday to discuss the International Night activities. Please come and bring your ideas and materials for your station. We will be ready to roll by the end of the meeting! The German Club will meet on Monday the 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0of March at 3:15 in Mrs. Nebenfuehr’s classroom CS301.<\/p>\n

All students are invited to join the Black Student Union, where we celebrate Black culture and identity, build community, and promote inclusion and respect across our campus. BSU is open to anyone who wants to celebrate and learn. We meet every Tuesday in CS329, and our next meeting is tomorrow. Come be a part of something amazing (and yes, we will have food!).<\/p>\n
