It is often called &#8220;the invisible killer\u201d. It is created when fossil fuels such as kerosene, gasoline, coal, natural gas, propane, methane, or wood don\u2019t burn completely. CO gas kills people and pets.<\/p>\n<p>Headaches, nausea, and drowsiness are symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. Exposure can be fatal. CO alarms shall be installed outside each sleeping area and on every level of the home. Follow manufacturer\u2019s instructions for placement and mounting height. \u00a0Test CO detectors monthly and replace if they fail to respond. \u00a0If CO alarm sounds, immediately exit per your home escape plan and call 911. Do not go back until the fire department personnel declare it is safe to re-enter the home.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>CLUB INFO<\/u><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Want to SHRED for the holidays?\u00a0 Put SKI CLUB on your wish list to Santa, because we are going to Sugar Mountain on January 19<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Forms are available from Mr. Jarnigan, and on the Ski Club bulletin board in the LC 200 hallway.\u00a0 Deadline to sign up is January 12<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Happy New Year!!\u00a0 FCA will meet on Friday morning, January 9th, at 7:00 AM!!\u00a0 We will meet at Grace Baptist-Oak Ridge Campus (formerly Central Baptist) &#8211; directly across the street from the bus loop and arena at the high school.\u00a0 Doors open and refreshments begin at 7:00, and a message will begin at approximately 7:10. We will dismiss by 7:35. We\u2019ll finish checking out the new 2026 bikes as well as finalize our request for the first 2 of our 3 designated bike parking spots.
