Have you ever thought you\u2019d like to try to get up on stage and join the fun with the Masquers? Now is your chance! We are having auditions for our spring musical, Tuck Everlasting, on Saturday, December 13th<\/sup>, with callbacks on Sunday, December 14th<\/sup>. We are looking for singers, actors and dancers to join us to bring this magical story to life! Scan the QR code on the Masquers office door or look for a link in the i-news for information about preparing for auditions and for sign-ups.<\/p>\n

Students who applied for the TN Promise scholarship may also be eligible for the UT Promise scholarship!\u00a0 The UT Promise is a last-dollar scholarship for students accepted into undergraduate programs at UT Knoxville, Chattanooga, Martin, Memphis, and Southern.\u00a0 If you are interested in attending a UT System institution next fall, please complete the UT Promise application<\/a>\u00a0by December 15, 2025!<\/p>\n

FCCLA is collecting donations for NEW stuffed animals for the Isaih 1 17 house, a local foster home. Drop off all NEW stuffies in Dr. Sparks\u2019 room by December 16th\u00a0(CS 350).<\/p>\n

Looking for some extra help preparing for the December ACT? Mr. Stebbins is offering one more practice session starting on Thursday, Dec. 11 from 3:15-4:00 in CS339. This one will focus on the science portion of the ACT. If you have any questions beforehand, stop by his room or email him at wmstebbins@ortn.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Winter break is almost here\u2014which means cozy days, late mornings, and lots<\/em>\u00a0of time to relax. Before you disappear into holiday mode, the library has a quick request:<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re not reading it anymore, return it before break! We\u2019d hate for your books to go on an accidental vacation under your bed or get pitched with leftover wrapping paper.<\/p>\n

AND\u2026 Come renew what you are still reading or grab something new\u00a0for break! Whether you want adventure, mystery, romance, or a book thick enough to double as a snow fort, we\u2019ve got what you are looking for. So swing by the library, return what you\u2019re done with, and pick out your next great read. Your future, well-rested self will thank you.<\/p>\n

FCA will meet on FRIDAY morning, December 12th, at 7:00 AM!! \u00a0We will meet at Grace Baptist-Oak Ridge Campus (formerly Central Baptist) – directly across the street from the bus loop and arena at the high school. \u00a0Doors open and refreshments begin at 7:00, and a message will begin at approximately 7:10.\u00a0 We will dismiss by 7:35.\u00a0 All are welcome!!!\u00a0 If you have any questions, contact Coach McKeethan (football\/baseball coach).<\/p>\n

Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars! Rocket club will meet this Thursday after school in Ms Fairfax\u2019s room, LC210. We\u2019ll be planning our spring launch and competition dates so be sure to join us! Check the bulletin board in the LC200 science hallway for more information!<\/p>\n
