Y-12 Credit Union\u00a0Bill T. Hicks Scholarship\u00a0is now open for the 2025\u201326 school year!<\/p>\n

This scholarship rewards exceptional high school seniors who exemplify academic achievement, community involvement, and leadership. Six recipients from area high schools will each receive a $5,000 scholarship if selected. In total, the Credit Union will award $30,000.\u00a0 Go to the Y-12 Federal Credit Union scholarship page to apply.\u00a0 The deadline to apply is December 19th!!<\/u>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 https:\/\/y12fcu.org\/fusion-outreach\/scholarships\/<\/a><\/p>\n

Looking for some extra help preparing for the December ACT? Mr. Stebbins is offering weekly practice sessions starting on Thursday, Nov. 20 from 3:15-4:00 in CS339. If you have any questions beforehand, stop by his room or email him at wmstebbins@ortn.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Would you like to travel to Italy, France & Spain next spring break with Ms. Hale, your classmates, and families? Ms. Hale will share all the details at our informational meeting on Thursday, December 4th<\/sup> at 6pm in room CS 328. Your family must RSVP attending or interested to get more info via the link in the iNews. We\u2019ll also open enrollment during the meeting\u2014spots on the bus are limited and are first-come, first-served. Ms. Hale hopes to see you there and looks forward to sharing how this trip can be a powerful and unforgettable chapter in your life!<\/p>\n

Fall Ball tickets are now on sale. Each ticket is $25 and gets you admission into the dance here at ORHS on Saturday Nov 22nd<\/sup>\u00a0from 6-9pm. No tickets will be sold at the door. All grades are welcome. See you under the stars!<\/p>\n

The Quarter 2 School Wide Student Council will be this Thursday Nov 20th during 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0period. Concern forms will be delivered to each class today, and class representatives should bring these filled out to the meeting on Thursday in the amphitheater. This is your chance to make your voice heard.<\/p>\n

5, 4, 3, 2, 1, LIFT OFF!\u00a0 The Oak Ridge Rocket Club will hold it\u2019s first regular meeting this Tuesday 11\/18 after school in Ms Fairfax\u2019s room, LC210. See Ms Fairfax or check the Rocket Club bulletin board for the required permission form before coming to the meeting. Everyone is welcome! Come blast off with us!<\/p>\n

FCA will meet on FRIDAY morning, November 21st, at 7:00 AM!! \u00a0We will meet at Grace Baptist-Oak Ridge Campus (formerly Central Baptist) – directly across the street from the bus loop and arena at the high school. \u00a0Doors open and refreshments begin\u00a0at 7:00, and a message will begin at approximately\u00a07:10.\u00a0 We will dismiss by\u00a07:35.\u00a0 All are welcome!!!\u00a0 If you have any questions, contact Coach McKeethan (football\/baseball coach)<\/p>\n
