The Booster Club is looking for students to work concessions at the football game on Friday, November 7th.\u00a0 If you are looking for a fun way to earn volunteer hours, contact Sue Woody at boosterclubvp@oakridgefootball.net<\/a> to sign up!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Business Academy will be opening Wildcat Central after school TODAY until 4pm at the main entrance lobby. ORHS Students and Staff get first looks at the amazing products and services from our 14 student businesses from our Intro to Business classes. Check out their car fresheners, athletic photo sessions, body oil and body butter, Dubai Chocolate, car detailing service, clip-on pencil sharpeners and lead holders, custom pins, bookmarks, jewelry, t-shirts, stickers, and artwork. These students have worked hard to bring you great products to help you with your holiday shopping and everyday life. Products and services are on sale now through December 5th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CLUB INFO<\/u><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n Rocket Club Announcement:\u00a0 The thrill of anticipation\u2026 the rush of the launch\u2026 the excitement of the successful landing\u2026 All these things can be found as part of the Oak Ridge Rocket Club! We use STEM and Physics skills to design, build, and launch rockets. All are welcome. A brief interest meeting will be next Thursday (Nov 6) after school in LC210, Mrs. Fairfax\u2019s room<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Interested in teamwork, competition, or stem? Then we have a deal for you! Our FIRST Robotics Competition team, 4265, The Secret City Wildbots<\/em> is looking for new members. There are opportunities for those interested in any kind of engineering. Learn and apply skills in coding, design, mechanical fabrication, machining, business, animation, photography, videography and more. We currently meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm to 9pm in the automotive, aviation, and iSchool building. Come help us gear <\/em>up for build season starting in January! New members will not be considered after Tuesday, November 25; so make sure to stop by or email Dr. Buckner at mabuckner@ortn.edu<\/a> if you have any further questions, all grades and experience levels are welcome. Come check out the biggest learning opportunity and hardest fun you\u2019ve ever had!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n FCA will meet on FRIDAY MORNING, November 7th, at 7:00 AM!!\u00a0 We will meet at Grace Baptist-Oak Ridge Campus (formerly Central Baptist) – directly across the street from the bus loop and arena at the high school.\u00a0 Doors open and refreshments begin at 7:00, and a message will begin at approximately 7:10.\u00a0 We will dismiss by 7:35.\u00a0 All are welcome!!!\u00a0 If you have any questions, contact Coach McKeethan (football\/baseball coach).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Interact club will meet right after school on Monday, November 3 until 4pm in the amphitheater.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The roads are finally dry, the weather is cool and the leaves are beautiful- time to ride! This is the FINAL deadline.
