NEW LAPTOPS ARRIVE THIS WEEK. Students will return their current device and receive a new device on Wednesday. Students, be sure to bring your current laptop, charger, and case on Wednesday.\u00a0 Students will\u00a0NOT\u00a0receive a device without turning in their previous device\u00a0AND\u00a0having their computer case present to secure and protect it.<\/p>\n

The online Jostens yearbook store is OPEN at Jostens.com. For a limited time, the\u00a0Oak Log\u00a0<\/em>will cost $65.00.\u00a0In mid-October the price will increase to $75.00. The price on Distribution Day, if any are left, is cash only and $85.00.\u00a0Last year, the Oak Log was completely sold out. Once the books are gone, they are gone.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Attention AP Students: The Fall AP payment window is now open and closes on Friday, October 31st<\/sup> at 11:59pm for all students currently enrolled in a fall or yearlong AP course.\u00a0 If you begin your AP course in January, you will pay in the spring.\u00a0 This year all AP exams are $102.\u00a0The link to register and pay is available to all AP students via Parent\/Student Square.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n Homecoming Week dress up days this week are as follows- Monday is Bikers versus Surfers, Tuesday is Duo Day, Wednesday is Dress Your Type, Thursday is Country versus Country Club, and Friday is Wildcat Pride Day. Tag @orhs_stuco on instagram each day for a chance to win a gift card for best dressed each day. The week will conclude with a pep rally on Friday to present the Homecoming Court and hype up our team to beat the Cleveland High Blue Raiders. Go cats and happy HoCo!<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n Soccer Club of Oak Ridge is looking for several volunteers September 20\/21st to support the large soccer tournament.\u00a0 If you are interested, the form to fill out is in the iNews as well as grade level Canvas pages. (Thompson 9\/11 – 9\/17)<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n The latest colleges that will be visiting us, after school in Counseling are:<\/p>\n Lincoln Memorial University on Tuesday the 16th<\/p>\n Pellissippi State on Thursday the 18th<\/sup><\/p>\n And Queens University of Charlotte on Tuesday the 23rd.<\/p>\n If you are curious about any of these schools, it makes a big impression to admissions representatives when you stop by!<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n Anyone looking to get extra help preparing for the ACT test can sign\u00a0up\u00a0for the ACT\u00a0Boot Camp, which will be held the first four<\/strong> days of Fall Break, September 29 to October 2. Sessions will be from 8-11 a.m. in the amphitheater. Each day will focus on a different section of the test. This opportunity is free, but transportation will not\u00a0be provided and lunch will not be served. Sign up links are in the class Canvas pages, the iNews, and have been sent through ParentSquare.
