The tradition continues. It\u2019s time for the Senior Shirt Design Contest\u2014the shirt that every senior gets to sign. Please submit your designs for the Class of 2026 Senior Shirt to Mrs. Ledden in Room CS347 by Thursday, September 18. You do not have to be a senior to submit designs for the shirt\u2014open to all grade levels.<\/p>\n

Current juniors and seniors may still purchase parking spots through Friday August 22nd. Students with completed applications and money may choose from the remaining spots through Mrs. Wagner or Mrs. Gilliland. No spots will be sold after Friday August 22nd<\/sup><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Calling all students! Do you want to help plan prom?\u00a0Applications for the prom board are now open to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors! Come by Mrs. Royster’s room VA 102 anytime to pick up an application. Let’s start planning next year’s unforgettable prom together! (If you already picked up and completed an application at the end of the last school year, you do not need to resubmit.)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Have you ever been interested in being a part of Masquers, but don\u2019t want to be ON stage? We are looking for students to help backstage. We especially need deck crew. Our deck crew will be moving items on and off stage to create the illusion of different locations. To do this they will change scenes by moving set pieces and flying items in and out of the scene. We also need a few people to help with other areas like mic crew to help our actors be heard. If you are interested in any area of backstage work, please come to our Masquers Tech meeting after school on Fridays on stage in the Auditorium or contact us at masquers@ortn.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Every year, WBIR hosts food drive competitions between rival schools. Oak Ridge High School will be competing against Clinton High School during the week August 25. \u00a0We can collect food before then, but we can’t advertise this on social media until the week of the game, per the rules of the competition,<\/em> Tables are set up in the lobby.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Teachers please submit Quiz and Test codes to Mr. Kolodney, Mrs. Thompson, Mrs. Hale, and Mr. Van Eek.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Attention all Sophomores and Juniors:\u00a0The PSAT\/NMSQT\u00a0<\/sup>is an OPTIONAL test that will be offered to 10th<\/sup> and 11th<\/sup> graders at Oak Ridge High School on Tuesday, October 21st at 7:50 a.m.\u00a0 The test should end by 1:00 p.m. and the food court will be open at that time for students that take the test to eat lunch.\u00a0 The online registration and payment portal will open next Monday and close on Tuesday, September 9th<\/sup>. Register and pay at aptsusa.com\/oakridge.\u00a0 The cost is $20. No refunds are available if you do not take the test.\u00a0 A limited number of exams are available. Representatives for each class should come to the amphitheater at the beginning of 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0period, and attendance will be sent from there. Concern forms will be delivered during 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0period today and should be brought to the meeting.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Youth Leadership Oak Ridge will kickoff this coming Wednesday 8\/20\/25 from 2:15-4:30.\u00a0 Any student who is interested in learning more about this opportunity is welcome to attend.\u00a0 This club will meet twice a month and students will learn about leadership, city government, and make connections with city and state leaders.\u00a0 Depending on the number of students interested, there may be an interview process to be a part of this opportunity.\u00a0 Tuition is $25 for the year and there will be snacks at every meeting.\u00a0 Meetings take place at the Chamber of Commerce which is located at the end of the ORHS parking lot on the Turnpike side of the building.<\/p>\n If you have any questions, please feel free to see Mr. Foust or Ms. King.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n SENIORS<\/u><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n ATHLETICS<\/u>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Students – Do you want to save over $300.\u00a0 Purchase your 2025-26 Student Athletic Pass in the Main Lobby at the beginning and end of 3rd<\/sup> block each day this week.\u00a0 $60 will get you in to every home regular-season game for football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball and track.\u00a0 Ticket prices now are $10 per event for students for basketball and football.\u00a0 You will save $90 for those 2 sports and not have to wait in line. Post-season games and tournaments are not included.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
