THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family performs THIS weekend, right here on the ORHS stage! Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a\u00a0\u201cnormal\u201d boyfriend. Everything will change on this One Normal Night. With performances this Friday and Saturday at 7 pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm, come see what it means TO BE AN ADDAMS! Tickets are $15 at the door or online at orhsmasquers.booktix.com.<\/p>\n

The Spring AP payment window is now open and will close March 1st<\/sup> at 11:59pm for all students enrolled in an AP course.\u00a0This year all AP exams are $101 each except for AP Seminar and Research exams which are $149 each.\u00a0 If you\u2019re taking 3 or more exams your 4th<\/sup> and all subsequent exams are $40 each.\u00a0 If you qualify for free or reduced lunch your exams are $15 each.\u00a0 If that is you, please contact jmmilligan2@ortn.edu<\/a> to verify your status and receive your code before registering.\u00a0 The link to pay is http:\/\/aptsusa.com\/oakridge<\/a> .<\/p>\n Attention all 9th<\/sup> \u2013 11th<\/sup> graders, you may now access registration information for next school year on your grade level Canvas page.\u00a0 Complete your registration form with your parent\/guardian and self-select your courses in Skyward through the end of the week.\u00a0 You will be called to the Amphitheater to meet with your counselor next week to review your course selections. You must turn in your signed registration sheet to your counselor at that time. Be sure to refer to your grade level Canvas page for more detailed information. This information has also been shared via Parent Square<\/p>\n All students interested in participating in Work-Based Learning for any of the areas listed above should attend the mandatory meeting after school on Wednesday, March 5, in room CS347 with Mrs. Ledden to begin the application process. Students should get a recommendation to register for WBL from their teacher in their area of focus. Students may participate in a WBL placement leaving school after 2nd<\/sup> period or after 4th<\/sup> period depending on the courses required for graduation.<\/p>\n Anyone looking to get extra help preparing for the ACT test may sign up for the ACT Bootcamp, which will be held during intersession, 8-11 a.m. on\u00a0Monday, March 10 through Thursday, March 13.\u00a0 The link to sign up was sent out through ParentSquare and StudentSquare, and it is also available in the iNews and on Canvas. The deadline to register is March 4th. This opportunity is free, but transportation and lunch will\u00a0not<\/u>\u00a0be provided.
