\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n STUDENT INFO <\/u><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mrs. King is currently accepting Wildcat Mentor applications for the 2025-2026 school year.\u00a0 If you a sophomore or junior, please check your class canvas page or student square messages for the application.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n AP payments have gone digital!\u00a0 The Spring AP payment window will open on February 1st<\/sup> and close March 1st<\/sup> at 11:59pm for all students enrolled in an AP course.\u00a0This year all AP exams are $101 each except for AP Seminar and Research exams which are $149 each.\u00a0 If you\u2019re taking 3 or more exams your 4th<\/sup> and all subsequent exams are $40 each.\u00a0 If you qualify for free or reduced lunch your exams are $15 each.\u00a0 If that is you, please contact Jennifer Milligan at \u00a0jmmilligan2@ortn.edu<\/a> to verify your status and receive your code before registering.\u00a0The link to pay is http:\/\/aptsusa.com\/oakridge<\/a> and will open on February 1st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Rex Hitchcock Memorial Scholarship, from One Bank of Tennessee, was created to reward local students for graduation and the pursuit of higher education. One student is selected from each of our nine service counties.\u00a0 Eight of the nine selected students will receive a one-time $5000 scholarship.\u00a0 One of the selected students will receive a recurring $5000 scholarship for up to 5 years (up to $25,000).\u00a0 A letter of recommendation and the scholarship application must be submitted by March 31st<\/strong>.\u00a0 More information can be found on their website: \u00a0Scholarship – One Bank of Tennessee<\/a>\u00a0 The application can be downloaded now, or on Feb 1st\u00a0the online application will be opened.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Masquers is back and gearing up for an entertaining semester! Mark your calendar for the Valentine Improv Show on Friday, February 7, The Addams Family musical on February 28th, March 1st & 2nd, Atomic Acts, a night of scenes on April 11th, and finally the theatre class performance of Class Acts, a series of One-Acts, on May 10th. Tickets are available online at orhsmasquers.booktix.com.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n SENIORS<\/u><\/p>\n Seniors!\u00a0 The East Tennessee Foundation (ETF) awards scholarships from over 75 scholarship funds in 25 East Tennessee counties.\u00a0 There are two specific to ORHS Students:<\/p>\n Oak Ridge Rotary Brad Sturm<\/p>\n Oak Ridge Rotary Founders’ Day Scholarship<\/p>\n ETF also coordinates scholarship awards for students from 16 counties and states outside of our 25-county service area, and for students studying law, architecture, or sports-related fields of study.
