\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n STUDENT INFO <\/u><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n This year there will be no costumes worn to school on Halloween.\u00a0 Students<\/p>\n are encouraged to participate and dress up for Trunk or Treat on October 30th.<\/p>\n If students show up in costumes on Halloween, they will need to go home and<\/p>\n change.\u00a0 -T. Seals<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The counseling department will have a few colleges visiting in October, all are immediately after school in the College and Career Room.<\/p>\n Thursday, October 24th<\/sup> \u2013 Queens University of Charlotte<\/p>\n Friday, October 25th<\/sup> \u2013 Case Western Reserve University<\/p>\n Monday, October 28th<\/sup> \u2013 Randolf College<\/p>\n Hilarious Halloween antics will ensue at the Masquers Improv Show THIS Saturday, October 26th<\/sup>\u00a0at 7pm. You’ll have a frightfully good time!<\/p>\n Any Sophomore or Junior interested in attending Governor\u2019s School during Summer 2025, please see the detailed Canvas announcement on your Class of 2026 and Class of 2027 Canvas Page. Canvas pages include the attached list of Governor\u2019s Schools offered by the state and the Governor\u2019s School Intent Form. To be considered for Governor\u2019s School, students must adhere to the deadlines set by ORHS when applying. Late applications will not be accepted. \u2013 B. Idling is where your car is stopped but your engine is still running.\u00a0 When you idle you could be decreasing someone’s health. 8.43 million premature deaths annually are attributed to air pollution, so please shut off your car if you able to.\u00a0\u2013 L. Wilmoth<\/p>\n AP payments have gone digital!\u00a0 The Fall AP payment window is open through November 1st<\/sup> at 11:59pm for all students enrolled in a fall or yearlong AP course.\u00a0 If you begin your AP course in January you will pay in the spring.\u00a0 This year all AP exams are $101 each except for AP Seminar and Research exams which are $149 each.\u00a0 If you\u2019re taking 3 or more exams your 4th<\/sup> and all subsequent exams are $40 each.\u00a0 If you qualify for free or reduced lunch your exams are $15 each.\u00a0 If that is you, please contact jmmilligan2@ortn.edu<\/a> to verify your status and receive your code before registering.\u00a0 The link to pay can be found on Parent\/Student Square.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Any student at ORHS can order a class ring.
