\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n STUDENT INFO <\/u><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Congratulations to ORHS Masquers for being honored as Best Overall Musical at the Tennessee Theatre Marquee Awards last Saturday! Max Mishler and Norah Younger were chosen for top honors as Best Lead Actor and Actress. Max and Norah will now go to New York City to perform with 102 other students from all over the country on a Broadway stage on June 24th. They will spend 10 days living at Julliard, working with Broadway directors, choreographers, and vocal coaches. Masquers is so proud of all their students for their accomplishments. Break a leg Max & Norah! (W 5\/15) T. Lloyd<\/p>\n Masquers is already gearing up for next year! Come learn more about Puffs, the Fall Play, The Addams Family, the Spring Musical, and other performance and technical opportunities.\u00a0 Auditions for Puffs will take place the second week back to school on Monday, July 29th. Puffs is \u201cA fast-paced romp through the \u2018Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic.\u2019 This clever and inventive play gives you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of the Puffs. To help everyone get ready, we are having an interest meeting on Thursday, May 23rd after school in the auditorium. Encourage anybody and everybody interested in being a part of Masquers to attend! The informational portion will be from 3:15-3:45. Anyone interested in helping with props, costumes or set are encouraged to stay for a reading of the play. See you Thursday! (W-W 5\/22) T. If you want to help your community, something you could do is reduce vehicle idling. Vehicle idling means sitting in your car with the engine on and not moving. (W 5\/15) L. Wilmoth<\/p>\n AP Testing has begun at Roane State Community College\u2019s Goff Building and runs through Friday, May 24th.\u00a0 It is imperative that students check their school e-mail regularly for testing schedules and important announcements and updates related to testing.\u00a0 If you are taking a digital test, don\u2019t forget to charge your device and update Bluebook before test day.
