Come by the iSchool G-building on Thursday, May 23 from 6 to 9pm, for the robotics team\u2019s Open House. There will be food and robot demos. You can park in front of the high school and come through the Secret City Academy. Look for flyers around the school for more information. D. Kolodney<\/p>\n It\u2019s idle-free week.\u00a0 Vehicle idling means sitting in your car with the engine on but not moving.\u00a0 While children, the elderly, and people with respiratory ailments are most vulnerable to the pollutants from vehicle exhaust, these emissions affect everybody. Pollutants released during idling have been linked to increased asthma, allergies, lung and heart disease, and cancer. Please help us to keep our people heathy by idling less\u00a0 L. Wilmoth<\/p>\n Yearbook Distribution Day will be TODAY<\/strong>,<\/u><\/em> Tuesday, May 14 on a morning assembly schedule. Yearbooks will be distributed to students who have purchased them during 1st period, as students will be called by grade to the B-Gym to pick up their yearbooks. Students who have not yet purchased a book will have the opportunity to purchase one for $85, cash only, when their grade is called down. The yearbooks are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis and will likely sell out as there are only 95 copies available on hand that day. No yearbooks will be sold before then, and no books will be reserved that have not already been purchased. You may email rahale@ortn.edu if you would like Ms. Hale to check and see if you have purchased a book already. After first period on May 14, no more yearbooks will be sold until 5th period on Wednesday, May 15 to give Ms. Hale time to close out her accounting procedures for the day.
