The ORHS EAS Classes are launching an idling reduction campaign this week and would like you to know that:<\/p>\n
**Idling is the act of leaving your car running while not moving.\u00a0 While this may seem harmless, it is causing air pollution that is especially harmful to children and the elderly. According to World Economic Forum and the National Library of Medicine, 1.2 million children and 3.2 million elderly die every year because of air pollution.\u00a0 L. Wilmoth<\/p>\n

Juniors who have registered for the Work-Based Learning Program for the 2023-2024 school year with Mrs. Ledden for Business, Welding, or STEM are required to attend the introductory meeting after school Wednesday<\/u><\/em> in CS347. Students will not be allowed to interview and participate in the program until this requirement is met. If you are unable to attend, please see or email Mrs. Ledden at tledden@ortn.edu to reschedule. Lloyd<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tickets to Prom 2023, Luminous Nights, will be on Pre-Order April 5th -6th in the Arena Kiosk during 3rd period at the pre-order cost of $30 for singles and $60 for couples.\u00a0 Tickets will be on sale April 24th – 27th during 3rd period at the price of $40 for singles and $80 for couples. Tickets WILL NOT be sold Friday April 28th or Saturday April 29th.\u00a0 All tickets are NON-TRANSFERABLE and<\/p>\n NON-REFUNDABLE<\/p>\n **If your date is not a current ORHS student you must complete a Guest Application form found in Ms. Eidam Dyer\u2019s room, LC 313, Student Services, or at Ticket Sales.\u00a0 All forms must be completed and turned in with a copy of the guest\u2019s ID to Student Services by April 26th.\u00a0 S. This year, essays will be composed and submitted in- person on April 12, after school from 2:15-3:15 in CS 319. To register, see Mr. Feuer in CS 319 for an application form. All responses will be anonymously reviewed, and a winner chosen by a committee of teachers across multiple subjects.\u00a0 M.
