\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n STUDENT INFO <\/u><\/p>\n <\/p>\n This week is National School Counselor Appreciation Week!\u00a0 Stop by the Counseling Office to put a note in the Appreciation Box for our fabulous Counseling Team.\u00a0 A. O\u2019Rourke<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Valentine’s Day is next week! So buy your carnations this week during lunch. Get 1 for $2 or 3 for $5. They will be delivered during 2nd block on Valentine’s Day. Send one to someone special at school or send it to yourself so you can deliver it in person. (PS-moms and grandmas love flowers!) B. Sparks<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n Do you have a Home Escape Plan????<\/u><\/p>\n ***Make sure you have working smoke alarms inside and outside of every sleeping area, and on every level. Make sure that everyone in your home knows the sound and understands the warning of the smoke alarm and knows how to respond.<\/p>\n ***Make a home escape plan by drawing a map of each level of the home, showing all doors and windows. Go to every room to identify two ways out of the room. Make sure all of your windows and doors will open and everyone knows how to remove screens.<\/p>\n ***Practice your plan with everyone in the home at least twice a year.<\/p>\n ***Have an outside meeting place (something permanent, like a tree, light pole, or mailbox) a safe distance in front of the home where firefighters will easily find you.<\/p>\n ***Make sure your house number can be seen from the street both day and night.<\/p>\n ***Please be sure that everyone knows how to call 911 and report fires or emergencies immediately.
