(T,Th)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Mitsui USA Foundation Scholarship has announced $5,000 scholarship for students who will be freshman in the Fall of 2022 and are attending the following universities: any school in the UT System, Austin Peay, ETSU, MTSU, TN State, TN Tech, University of Memphis.\u00a0 Four scholarships will be awarded.\u00a0 Eligibility guidelines, application materials and selection criteria are available in the iNews.\u00a0 The application is due May 31st!\u00a0\u00a0 See Mrs. Thompson if you have any questions. (T, Th)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Knoxville Urban League has expanded to include Anderson Co and the City of Oak Ridge for their National Achievers Scholars program.\u00a0 Applications are due on May 6th.\u00a0 The National Achievers Society (NAS) is an honor society that recognizes and celebrates the academic achievements of students of color across Knox County and the surrounding areas.\u00a0 This is an excellent opportunity for our students of color to develop mentoring relationships with professionals throughout the school year who encourage them to stay on track at school, engage in field trips,\u00a0 and follow through on their hopes and dreams for college and future careers.<\/p>\n Qualifying students received an invitation to apply in your ortn.edu email from Mrs. Thompson.\u00a0 NAS requires a current GPA of 3.0 or higher, completion of the application, including the essay, and attending the induction ceremony.<\/p>\n For additional information, please contact Mrs. Thompson.
