The Spring Musical \u201cInto the Woods\u201d is a week away!\u00a0 Do you have your tickets for this beloved story? Shows are Mar 4-6:\u00a0 Friday at 7, Saturday at 2 and 7, and Sunday at 2.\u00a0 You are running out of time to buy Advance tickets.\u00a0 Advance tickets are $8 and are available from a Masquer, Mr. Moreno\u2019s class, or the Bookstore.\u00a0 Tickets will be sold at the door but will be $1 more.\u00a0 Don\u2019t miss the biggest show in Masquer History!<\/p>\n

FAFSA Updated Info\u00a0 –\u00a0 Two important deadlines are approaching for seniors who applied for the TN Promise.\u00a0 First, file your FAFSA by the new deadline March 1st at 11:59 PM.\u00a0 Second, watch the mandatory webinar in your TN Achieves account by March 1st.\u00a0 Failure to complete either of these tasks will result in losing the TN Promise scholarship.\u00a0 See Mrs. Thompson if you have questions or problems. Do you want an opportunity to win a cash award and investigate the Scarboro 85 during Black History month?\u00a0 The local chapter of the NAACP is sponsoring a Black History Month Trivia Contest.\u00a0 Mrs. Thompson has sent contest information to your school email.\u00a0 Submissions will be due to the Counseling Office by March 11th. The ORHS Key Club is hosting their annual diaper drive to support TORCH, a local charity that works with homeless individuals. To donate, see Mr. Schoolcraft in LC224 or a Key Club member.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The ORHS Key Club, in partnership with other schools in the area, is hosting a donation drive for the Ronald McDonald House in Knoxville. The Ronald McDonald House is in need of items such as cereals, breakfast bars, ranch dressing, non-dairy creamers, Ramen noodles, chips, and various snacks. For the list of other items to donate, there will be flyers posted around the school. To donate, see Mr. Schoolcraft in LC224 or a Key Club member. (Tu,Th\u00a0 – 2.25)\u00a0 J. Schoolcraft<\/p>\n

AP EXAM INFO<\/u><\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We will be taking payments for AP exams the week of February 28 to March 4 during lunch.\u00a0 This is the final window to pay your exam balances as well as order exams for your Spring semester courses.\u00a0 As a reminder, each exam is $96.\u00a0 Seminar and Research exams are $126 each.\u00a0 If your student is taking 4 or more exams, the first three exams are full price and the fourth and subsequent exam is $40.\u00a0 Please make checks payable to Oak Ridge High School.<\/p>\n
If you have decided that you want to add an exam for a course you were in during Fall semester only and you didn\u2019t place an order in November you may still do so, however College Board will charge a $40 late fee in addition to the price of the exam.\u00a0 Additionally as a reminder, if a student decides they no longer wish to take an exam that they ordered in the fall College Board will charge a $40 fee to cancel their exam.<\/p>\n
Please make sure that you have entered join codes for ALL AP courses that you are in, even if you do not plan to take the AP exam.\u00a0 Mr. Foust is unable to order an exam for a student, even if they have paid, if they have not entered the join code for the course.<\/p>\n
You can find the AP exam schedule at the link below.\u00a0 In April, Mr. Foust will be in contact with those students who have exam conflicts and work to get any conflicts scheduled on the makeup exam dates.\u00a0 Like in years past, we are working with Roane State Community College to administer all of our AP exams at the Oak Ridge campus of Roane State.\u00a0 More information on that to come.<\/p>\n
