All new members of National Honor Society should meet in LC326 right after school on Monday, May 24 for our first meeting. We will elect the officers for your senior year at ORHS (2021-22), so please come ready to select a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. (5\/21, 5\/24) \u2013 K. Senter<\/p>\n

The YuGi-Oh! Club will\u00a0NOT<\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0meet on Friday, May 21. (5\/20-5\/21) \u2013 R. Colquitt<\/p>\n

If you have lost anything this past grading term please check the Lost and Found.\u00a0 All Items left in lost and found will be donated on June 1st<\/sup>.\u00a0(5\/20-5\/21) \u2013 C. Rhinehart<\/p>\n

Attention Students who park in the church parking lots on Providence Road during school. Please make sure that you do not leave trash or other items in the parking lots of the churches across Providence Road. If we continue to get complaints, students will not be allowed to park in the lots.<\/p>\n

All ORHS library books are now due back to the library. Please return them as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

Congratulations\u00a0to Elle Lancaster, the 2021 recipient of the $500 Oak Ridge High School English Department Scholarship. Her essay on the power of words and the importance of the written word is original and thought-provoking. Elle will attend either Lee University or Carson Newman University in the fall. (5\/17-5\/21) \u2013 M. Feuer<\/p>\n

Students, if you have medication in the clinic, please ask your parents to pick it up before Thursday, May 27th. Medications are not allowed to be kept over the summer. Also note that any medications left will be disposed of.<\/p>\n

We are now down to about 20 yearbooks, and they will only be on sale through lunch Friday. We accept \u00a0cash only, $85 in CS328. Once those 20 are gone, they will be sold out.\u00a0 (5\/199-5\/21) \u2013 R. Hale<\/p>\n

Andy Lee is the TSSAA Region 2 Boy’s Singles Tennis Champion. He will travel to Murfreesboro to play James Roane of Covington High School in the quarterfinals of the state tournament next Thursday.<\/p>\n

Boys basketball\u00a0Varsity & JV Tryouts (Current Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors) will be Monday & Tuesday (May 24-25) from 3:30-5:00 each day.\u00a0 Contact Coach Green if you have any questions.<\/p>\n

Linden Elementary School is celebrating the achievements of former Linden Lions Seniors.\u00a0 The celebration will be held on Tuesday, May 25th<\/sup>, 2021 at 4:00 at the back of the school on the blacktop.\u00a0 MASKS MUST BE WORN.\u00a0 Please tell all of your friends.\u00a0 Parents of these students are welcome to attend and the organizers would love some help on that day.\u00a0 This is for ORHS seniors only that attended Linden Elementary School at some point in their school career.\u00a0 Please direct any questions to Traci Magee at tmagee@ortn.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n
