The YuGi-Oh! Club will meet in Dr. Colquitt\u2019s room, CS 235, on Friday, April 30. Bring your cars and be ready to duel until 5 pm. All students are welcome. (6\/30) \u2013 R. Colquitt<\/p>\n

AP exams begin on May 3rd and run through May 17th.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

ORHS will be conducting our AP exam administration at the Roane State Oak Ridge campus. On the day(s) of your AP exam everyone will need to enter the Roane State campus from their Laboratory Road entrance. This is right next to the skatepark in Oak Ridge and Carl Yearwood Park. Masks are required on campus and everyone will need to complete Roane State\u2019s wellness screening PRIOR to coming on campus each day. Students can get a card with a QR code from their AP teacher or from Mr. Foust that will take them to the wellness screening. The screening can also be found by going straight to the following website:<\/p>\n

Once they complete this screening they can leave their browser open to that page and show it to the guard at the guard shack as they enter campus. If they don\u2019t have it completed they will have to complete it with the guard and this will cause significant delays for everyone getting on campus potentially impacting exam start times. Students should arrive very early in case there are delays getting on campus. Please begin talking to your students about this and explain the importance of them practicing this process ahead of time and being prepared the morning of their exam.<\/p>\n

Once students pass by the guard shack they will follow the signs and proceed to the parking lot. Goff is the first building they will see on the right. There will be signage at the building entrance indicating ORHS AP testing. Upon entering the building there will be signage indicating where they should go for their particular test.<\/p>\n

The City of Oak Ridge Youth Advisory Board is accepting applications for the 2021-2022 term of office. The Board is comprised of sixteen (16) students, all of whom are required to be residents of the City of Oak Ridge. All members are appointed and confirmed by City Council to serve a one-year term of office commencing on August 1st. Apply using the link below by the June 4, 2021 deadline. Prom King and Queen nominations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Seniors will receive a link to nominate one Senior for Prom King and one Senior for Prom Queen. The nominations will be open from 7:30am Wed April 28th- 1pm Friday April 30th.<\/p>\n

Prom Tickets will be on Sale Monday May3rd- Thurs May 6th during 5th period in the Arena Kiosk. Tickets will be $40 for singles and $80 for couples. Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door. If your date does not currently attend ORHS, you will need to complete a Guest Application. Guest application forms can be found in Ms. Eidam\u2019s room LC 313 or in Student Services. Senior Information<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The ORHS English Department is offering a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior who plans to attend a two- or four-year college or university. To apply, see Mr. Feuer in CS 319 for an application form, and return to him the completed form along with a response to the following prompt. All responses will be anonymously reviewed, and a winner chosen by a committee of teachers across multiple subjects. The submission deadline is Friday, May 7, at 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
