(Th,F,M) \u2013 A. King<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The AMC 10B and 12B will be taking place Wednesday, February 10<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Students that have signed up will need to be in the Amphitheatre by 7:45.\u00a0 You will need 2 pencils and if you would like, a ruler and compass.\u00a0 NO calculators are allowed for this exam.\u00a0 (Th,M,T) \u2013 J. Zimprich<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Valentine\u2019s Day is almost here so treat that special friend with a flower delivered to their homeroom.\u00a0 Senior Steering will be selling Red Carnations for $2 on February 4th, 5th, 8th and 9<sup>th<\/sup> and will be delivering them to homeroom classes on Thursday and Friday, Feb 11-12.\u00a0 Get yours from a senior steering member in the food court, arena lobby, hallway or a classroom.\u00a0 (M,T)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Stop by the booth during lunch this week to sign a Wildcat Paw and write a BE statement as we promote unity and love at ORHS. King<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Midweek Academic Intervention (MAI) is held every Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to noon.\u00a0 For now, in order to maintain a safe learning environment, only students who meet certain criteria should attend MAI, and those students are strongly encouraged to attend.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Midweek\u00a0Academic Intervention<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><u>When:<\/u><\/em> Each Wednesday 8:00 a.m.\u00a0to noon<\/li>\n<li><em><u>Who:<\/u><\/em> <strong><em>Any student who has an F for Term 2 or currently has an F for Term 3<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><em><u>What:<\/u><\/em> Students will enter through the main lobby doors and be assigned a location.\u00a0 There, you will meet with an\u00a0Academic Coach who will assist you in making a plan of action to improve your grades.\u00a0 Academic Coaches will then help you stay motivated and complete your missing assignments.\u00a0 Students will have until midterm of Term 3 (Friday, February 5) to repair their Term 2 grades.\u00a0 The last day to submit work for\u00a0Term 3 is Friday, March 5<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you do not meet the current criteria for MAI, please know that individual teachers are available for office hours on Wednesdays, and many teachers hold separate tutoring sessions in person or on Zoom on those days, as well.\u00a0 Please contact your teachers if you would like to request a meeting on a Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Breakfast and lunch are available free of charge; however, reservations are required by noon on Tuesday before MAI.\u00a0<\/strong> If you would like to order breakfast and\/or lunch, please follow this link to do so:\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=vdNYGNb6YE61OeUm8KqiP7rCP1M8hxRGrEaMv6jACnJUQlJPTlZURVRBNEY3Sk9JWlE1SDFWU1lMTS4u\"><strong>https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=vdNYGNb6YE61OeUm8KqiP7rCP1M8hxRGrEaMv6jACnJUQlJPTlZURVRBNEY3Sk9JWlE1SDFWU1lMTS4u<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you have questions about MAI, please contact Mrs. Roberts at <a href=\"mailto:ahroberts@ortn.edu\">ahroberts@ortn.edu<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0 (M, T \u2013 2\/5) \u2013 A.
