ACT Prep: On Wednesday, February 28, we will meet at 2:00 PM in room LC 327 to prepare for the ACT Science test. Ms. Hondorf will teach the highest-value content (particularly related to reading graphs and tables), and we will take a practice test. CLUB INFO<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Interact club will meet Monday after school Monday in the amphitheater until 4pm. (M) \u2013 A. King<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Teens For Contact will meet Tuesday in the counseling office after school until 4pm. (M) \u2013 A. King<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The ORHS Key Club is collecting diapers, baby wipes, and teddy bears in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Oak Ridge. Diapers can be dropped off with a Key Club member or in Mr. Schoolcraft’s room, LC224. A collection box will also be set up in the office.\u00a0Collected items will be distributed to TORCH in Oak Ridge for their work with homeless persons. This drive will run through February 27.\u00a0(M,W,F \u2013 2.20)\u00a0 J. Schoolcraft<\/p>\n <\/p>\n COUNSELING INFO<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n In order for the counselors to register students for classes, students must return their registration form with a parent\/guardian signature before their registration date. Otherwise, students will not be able to register for classes.\u00a0 (2\/18-2\/24) \u2013 B. Ottinger<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Attention Juniors! \u00a0There will be an information meeting on Thursday, February 27th<\/sup> \u00a0for those interested in representing Oak Ridge HS at the Tennessee American Legion Boys State and the American Legion Auxiliary Volunteer Girls State this May. The meeting will be in the Library Media Center classroom at 3:10. It will last about 30-40 minutes total. Last year\u2019s participants will be speaking with you regarding what the week is all about and what you do and learn through this amazing week-long experience. The fee to attend is covered so those selected do not have to pay to attend. Boys State is held at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville and Girls State is held at Lipscomb University in Nashville.
