Tickets will be sold during lunch at the top of the cafeteria and in the Wildcat Arena for $15\/each. Tickets are expected to sell out, so buy quickly! All proceeds will be put toward Second Harvest of Anderson County. (W,F,M \u2013 1.31) &#8211;\u00a0 A. Wagner<\/p>\n<p>ACT Practice: The Oak Ridge Chapter of the NAACP and Oak Ridge Schools are co-sponsoring Saturday ACT Prep sessions at the Scarboro Center on Saturday, January 25, and Saturday, February 1, from 8:00 AM-11:30 AM. On the 25<sup>th<\/sup> we will focus on the English and Reading tests, and on the 1<sup>st<\/sup> we\u2019ll focus on the Math and Science tests.\u00a0 Instructors include Ms. Estep, Ms. Hale, Ms. Vaughan, Ms. Hondorf, Dr. Thomas, and Coach Etheridge. If you\u2019d like to participate, please email Coach Etheridge (Aetheridge@ortn.edu) and indicate the date(s) that interest you. In particular we\u2019d like to see students who cannot attend our Wednesday afternoon sessions, but all students are welcome. We\u2019ll have door prizes and lunch. (W,F 1.31) \u2013 A. Etheridge<\/p>\n<p>ACT Prep: On Wednesday, January 29, Coach Etheridge and Ms. Flanders will lead a session focused on the ACT English test from 2:00-3:30 in the Amphitheatre. All ORHS students are welcome, although we\u2019d really like to see lots of juniors, who will take <strong>The Real Thing<\/strong> on March 31. Do you want to be part of the best yearbook in the state during the 2020-2021 school year? If so, pick up an application from your English teacher or guidance counselor. Remember that yearbook is a privilege and that only students selected by Ms. Hale through the application process will be invited to join. (M) \u2013 R. To remain eligible for the TNPromise Scholarship, seniors MUST complete the 2020-2021 FAFSA between October 1, 2019 \u2013 February 1, 2020. Complete the FAFSA at\u00a0 www.fafsa.gov based on student and parent 2018 tax information.
