Winter Formal tickets are now on sale! Tickets will be sold during lunch at the top of the cafeteria and in the Wildcat Arena for $15\/each. Tickets are expected to sell out, so buy quickly! All proceeds will be put toward Second Harvest of Anderson County. (W,F,M \u2013 1.31) –\u00a0 A. Wagner<\/p>\n

Well here\u2019s a big one\u202630,000.\u00a0 That\u2019s right, we\u2019re expecting our 30,000th visitor to the library this week.\u00a0 Come see for yourself why the library is such a popular spot \u2013 you might find something that\u2019s just right for you!\u00a0 (W) –\u00a0 C. ACT Practice: The Oak Ridge Chapter of the NAACP and Oak Ridge Schools are co-sponsoring Saturday ACT Prep sessions at the Scarboro Center on Saturday, January 25, and Saturday, February 1, from 8:00 AM-11:30 AM. On the 25th<\/sup> we will focus on the English and Reading tests, and on the 1st<\/sup> we\u2019ll focus on the Math and Science tests.\u00a0 Instructors include Ms. Estep, Ms. Hale, Ms. Vaughan, Ms. Hondorf, Dr. Thomas, and Coach Etheridge. If you\u2019d like to participate, please email Coach Etheridge (Aetheridge@ortn.edu) and indicate the date(s) that interest you. In particular we\u2019d like to see students who cannot attend our Wednesday afternoon sessions, but all students are welcome. We\u2019ll have door prizes and lunch. (W,F 1.31) – \u00a0A. Hey students! Do you want to be part of the best yearbook in the state during the 2020-2021 school year? If so, pick up an application from your English teacher or guidance counselor. Remember that yearbook is a privilege and that only students selected by Ms. Hale through the application process will be invited to join. (M) \u2013 R. Hale<\/p>\n

The City Clerk is requesting student applicants for the Student Representative on the Environmental Quality Advisory Board.\u00a0 The only requirements for the student is that they are an Oak Ridge resident and enrolled in school.\u00a0 Here is the link to the City Boards and Commissions page: http:\/\/oakridgetn.gov\/department\/CityClerk\/Boards-%26-Commissions\/Elections<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0 Applications will be accepted until January 24, 2020.\u00a0 Members will be appointed the board at the February 2020 regular meeting.\u00a0 (MWF,1\/15-1\/24) \u2013 S.
