Are you a senior interested in competing for scholarship money?\u00a0 The Miss America Local Primary system in looking for civic minded young women to compete at the local level.\u00a0 Miss Union County\/Miss Thunder Road, Miss Oak Ridge, and Miss Anderson County competitions are coming up on March 16th and 17th.\u00a0\u00a0 Each young woman will speak on a platform initiative that is a point of interest for public awareness and service, compete in an evening gown competition, and a talent competition.\u00a0 There is no swim suit category.
