These programs are exceptional programs to attend and each state has their own version so colleges are very aware of the leadership, citizenship and civics education you will receive at these programs. Criteria includes: high moral character, leadership, academic excellence, interest in government, community participation, show respect for God and country and be willing to pledge allegiance to the American flag and you must be able to stay for the duration of the week.<\/p>\n Boys State will be at Tennessee Tech University Sunday, May 19th-Saturday, May 25th and Girls State is held at Lipscomb University in Nashville on Sunday, May 26th \u2013Saturday, June 1st.<\/p>\n Mark your calendars for this meeting!!\u00a0 (Tu) \u2013 K.
