Herrell<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Today is the LAST DAY to buy Winter Formal tickets. Tickets are $15 each and will be sold at the top of the cafeteria and the arena kiosk during lunch. You can also donate to your favorite Snow Prince or Princess at this time. All proceeds go towards Second Harvest. There are a limited number of tickets, and tickets will NOT be sold at the door. Winter Formal will be Saturday February 2nd from 7-10pm at the DoubleTree. See you there! \u00a0(F) \u2013 A. Wagner<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Registration officially begins next week.\u00a0 In order to register on time, students must have their registration forms signed by their guardians by their registration day.\u00a0 Freshmen should return their forms to their science teachers, sophomores should return their forms to their English teachers, and juniors should return their forms to their US History teachers.\u00a0 Registration dates are as follow:\u00a0 Juniors February 4-5 ; Sophomores February 6-8; Freshmen February 11-13.\u00a0 If you lost your registration form, please stop by the counseling office. They will have tables set up in the front and the arena lobby Friday the 1st with paper, envelopes, addresses and everything you will need to write your OWN letter. Come to express your opinion on any topic, no matter what your stance. (F) \u2013 S. Thomas<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Join Philosophy Club today after school in Mr. Pickering\u2019s room (LC322) for our final practice before Saturday\u2019s Ethics Bowl! Jordan Baker from UT\u2019s Department of Philosophy will be our special guest judge for some practice rounds. Pickering<\/p>\n<p><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>COUNSELING INFO <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Applications are being accepted for the \u201cCottey College Summer Workshop\u201d in Nevada, Missouri June 16-21, 2019.\u00a0 Participants will have FUN while learning how to succeed in today\u2019s fast-paced world, and will experience college life prior to high school graduation.This scholarship pays 100% tuition, lodging, food as well as travel expenses up to $500 at the Cottey College program. If interested, please see your school counselor for the application. The deadline to turn in the application is February 15<sup>th<\/sup> (M) \u2013 K. Rowland<\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p>The Anderson County Democratic Women&#8217;s Scholarship is offering a $500 award to a female student. If you would like to be considered for this scholarship, please attach a paragraph statement to your local scholarship form that states why you think you would be a good candidate for this scholarship.
