Students, please remember that you must remain seated in the food court until you are released by the whistle.\u00a0 Additionally, it is your responsibility to clean up after yourselves.\u00a0 There are plenty of garbage cans around the food court so please make sure to not leave any trash behind. Please do not park on the yellow lined “field” on the food court\/front of school parking lot. It is located on the side closest to the turnpike. This is the WildBand practice field on campus. Thanks! \u2013 M. Hughey<\/p>\n

The Oak Log yearbook staff this year has already sold 103 copies of the 700 available to us!\u00a0 Remember, if you want a yearbook this year, you must purchase one early.\u00a0 Forms are available online at balfour.com, through the weekly INews, and outside CS328.\u00a0 The lowest price of the season is NOW, so buy one early, and don\u2019t miss out! Senior Steering is now open for applications. Seniors with an interest in community service, leadership, and organization are encouraged to apply. We will plan all class of 2019 events, including senior breakfast, convocation, and graduation. Stop by the bulletin board outside Mrs. Hondorf and Mrs. Sobek\u2019s rooms to pick up an application. The Gay Straight Trans Alliance first meeting of the year will be Monday after school in Ms. Adler’s room LC106. EVERYONE is welcome. Come be part of an accepting community. If you are interested in learning how to code or improving your coding skills, please consider the Computer Science Club. \u00a0We will hold an informational meeting on Wednesday, August 8th right after school in Mr. Jackson\u2019s room, LC 227. (8\/3-8\/8) \u2013 K. Jackson<\/p>\n

Do public policy, international relations, and political debates intrigue you? Would you like to participate in a model UN setting? Do you like public speaking, and more importantly, free pizza? Youth for Christ is a club for students who are Christians or are interested in Christianity to meet for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship to help support each other and reach out to others. The first Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting of the year will be on Friday, August 10 at 7:00 am at the Providence House, across the street from Wildcat Arena.\u00a0 We will have Chickfila biscuits together and hear a word from Chase Tuggle, area director of FCA.\u00a0 Come join Mr. Froning, Coach Jones, and Mrs. Byrd\u2014all are welcome! Thanos may have turned Thor into a pile of dust, but there are plenty more Scandinavian legends to explore! Join the World Wide Wildcats on a trip to the capitals of Norway, Sweden and Denmark this Spring.
