Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin<\/em><\/p>\n STUDENT INFO<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Students and Staff: we have AP World Language exams with speaking and listening portions that will be proctored here at ORHS. Roberts<\/p>\n The Driving Center will be running two Driver Education Classes this summer. The first starting June 4th and the second starting July 9th. This is just a friendly reminder that 5A\/5B classes are still part of your school day. Students who choose to skip a 5A or 5B class between now and through the end of the year will have their campus CLOSED when school begins in the fall. Thompson<\/p>\n Students taking the following DE courses next year for the Dual Enrollment credit: DE French 4, DE Spanish 4, DE Statistics, DE Pre-Calculus, and DE Geology should plan to stay after school ONE day for registration for Roane State AND the lottery grant to pay for the DE class. Those dates are either Monday, May 14th, Tuesday, May 15th or Thursday, May 17th at 3:15 in the Amphitheatre. You should plan to stay for at least one hour. If you are still undecided as to whether you will take the course for Dual Enrollment credit, Roane State request that you go ahead and register now as if you are taking it for DE credit but you are not obligated to do so. Rowland<\/p>\n This week during lunch, the pair of graduating classes that donate the most money to yearbook secure their spot in Assembly A on Distribution Day May 18.\u00a0 This means that they will receive their yearbooks first and have more time to sign them that day!\u00a0 Will the freshmen and sophomores win and get their yearbooks before juniors and seniors?\u00a0 We hope not\u2014but anything is possible!!!\u00a0 Find the yearbook staffers at the top of the cafeteria all week with collection jars. Pickering<\/p>\n SENIOR INFO<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n The Class of 2018 Honors Night is Monday, May 15th<\/sup> at 7:00 pm in the ORHS Performing Arts Center.\u00a0 Those members of the Senior Class who have earned a \u2018B\u2019 average and above through the end of their Junior year should have already received an invitation in the mail.\u00a0 We hope you, your family and friends will attend this event congratulating the class of 2018 Honor Graduates for their hard work and exceptional accomplishments.\u00a0 Refreshments will be served after the ceremony.\u00a0Students being honored at the ceremony should be sure to stop at the sign-in table next Monday night to complete your name card.\u00a0 You are not required to wear cap and gown for this occasion.
