Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin<\/em><\/p>\n STUDENT INFO<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Students taking the AP Exams: please plan to attend one of the 6 pre-administration sessions this week to fill out all paperwork for your exams. We will meet in the amphitheater Wednesday and Thursday, April 25th<\/sup> & 26th<\/sup> before school at 7:15 am, during 5a lunch, and immediately after school.<\/p>\n The City of Oak Ridge is currently accepting applications for board members of the Youth Advisory Board (YAB) for the 2018-2019 school year.\u00a0 Sixteen applicants will be confirmed and appointed by City Council to serve a one-year term of office that commences on August 1, 2018.\u00a0 To be considered, applicants must be residents of Oak Ridge and entering grade levels 8th through 12th.\u00a0 Participation on the YAB requires attendance at bi-monthly meetings on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m., as well as at special events that are held throughout the year.\u00a0 All interested students are encouraged to fill out the on-line application at https:\/\/form.jotform.com\/80926181025150<\/a> or the paper copy found in Student Services or at the Civic Center. Morris<\/p>\n An undergraduate admissions recruiter from The University of Alabama will be visiting with interested students this Friday during lunch in the Counseling Office. If interested, please plan to stop by between 11:30 and 12:30 this Friday the 27th. (4\/25-4\/26) \u2013 A. Morris<\/p>\n Students planning to take a Dual Enrollment course in French, Spanish, Statistics, Pre-Calculus or Geology at ORHS next fall or who plan to access the Middle College program through Roane State next fall MUST take the ACT or SAT<\/strong>. Our last test at ORHS that will count for Dual Enrollment purposes for fall 2018 is Saturday, June 9th<\/sup> and the deadline to register is next Friday, May 4th<\/sup><\/strong>. The next SAT will be in Knoxville on Saturday, June 2nd<\/sup> with a deadline of Thursday, May 3rd<\/sup>. Students may also call Roane State and sign up for a \u201cresidual\u201d ACT which cost $40 and the score is ONLY GOOD for Roane State. It can\u2019t be transferred to other colleges\/universities nor can an ACT fee waiver (if applicable) be used to pay for the residual test. (4\/25-4\/26) \u2013 K.
