Dance Cats tryouts will be held on Friday April 20th<\/sup>. The City of Oak Ridge is currently accepting applications for board members of the Youth Advisory Board (YAB) for the 2018-2019 school year.\u00a0 Sixteen applicants will be confirmed and appointed by City Council to serve a one-year term of office that commences on August 1, 2018.\u00a0 To be considered, applicants must be residents of Oak Ridge and entering grade levels 8th through 12th.\u00a0 Participation on the YAB requires attendance at bi-monthly meetings on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m., as well as at special events that are held throughout the year.\u00a0 All interested students are encouraged to fill out the on-line application at https:\/\/form.jotform.com\/80926181025150<\/a> or the paper copy found in Student Services or at the Civic Center.
