STUDENT INFO<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Y-12 is hosting its annual \u201cIntroduce a Girl to Engineering\u201d event on February 22nd<\/sup>, and all ORHS girls are welcome to attend.\u00a0 This free field trip is a great opportunity for our young women to hear from and talk with women in the STEM fields.\u00a0 There will be demonstrations and booths set-up for every STEM field imaginable.\u00a0 We will depart that morning and return to school in time for 6th<\/sup> period.\u00a0 If you would like to attend, please see your math or science teacher for a permission form.\u00a0 All forms are due to Student Services by the end of school on Friday, February 9th<\/sup>.\u00a0 There are a limited number of seats, so sign up quickly! (2\/5-2\/9) \u2013 A. Roberts<\/p>\n

There will be a meeting for those students who are enrolled on the summer trip to Spain and France on Thursday, February 8th<\/sup> at 6:30 in the Amphitheater. \u00a0Please bring two grey-scape signed copies of your passport and your folder.\u00a0 There are two spots remaining, but time is running out!\u00a0 If you are interested in traveling to Europe, eating Spanish and French food, learning to cook, watching a Flamenco show, or going to one of the favorite amusement parks in Europe–and potentially earning college credit while you do so–come to the meeting, or see Madame Bailey, Se\u00f1or Gonzalez, Se\u00f1ora Ferguson, Mr. Pickering, Mr. Hickman or Ms. Toler for more information on how to enroll.\u00a0 (2\/5, 2\/8) \u2013 L. You take your car in for service, don\u2019t you? Now bring your brain in for a checkup with free NHS tutoring from Olivia Pabst, Reid Dukes, and Joshua Bridges from 3:15 to 3:50 in the Counselling Center on Thursday. (2\/7-2\/8) \u2013 K. Senter<\/p>\n

Christmas is over now and Valentine\u2019s day is coming up! What\u2019s the best way to spread Valentine\u2019s day cheer? Sending a flower for all to admire! Buy a carnation in the lobby before school and at the arena and lobby during lunch from February 8th through February 13th!
