{"id":1153,"date":"2017-12-14T00:00:34","date_gmt":"2017-12-14T00:00:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ortn.edu\/highschool\/?p=1153"},"modified":"2017-12-13T20:21:37","modified_gmt":"2017-12-13T20:21:37","slug":"december-14","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ortn.edu\/highschool\/2017\/12\/14\/december-14\/","title":{"rendered":"December 14"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thursday, December 14, 2017<\/p>\n<p><em>Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>STUDENT INFO<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are excited to announce that Oak Ridge High School will be visited by an external review team from AdvancED on December 14<sup>th<\/sup> and 15<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 This two day process will focus on 11 STEM standards as the school is seeking to receive certification as a STEM school. If we receive this certification, we will be one of the first, if not the first, public high school in the United States to achieve this as an entire school rather than a program.\u00a0 We are extremely excited for this visit as all other schools in the district have already navigated this process.\u00a0 If certified, Oak Ridge Schools will be the first district in the state of Tennessee to have all schools STEM certified by AdvancED.\u00a0(12\/11-12\/14) \u2013 S. Herrell<\/p>\n<p>Any student going to get their Learners Permit over the break please come to the Attendance office to request your SF10-10 Form.\u00a0 The request form is brown and located on the Attendance counter top.<\/p>\n<p>Any student who has lost any items this quarter please come by the Attendance office by Dec. 19<sup>th<\/sup> to claim it.\u00a0 All items will that remain in Lost and Found will be donated on Dec. 20<sup>th<\/sup>.
