Show your support for the ORHS Business Academy’s young entrepreneurs at our Business Expo TONIGHT – Thursday, April 16th from: 5:30-7. Featuring a variety of products like jewelry, badge holders, custom artwork, clothing and more. Then stay for the Masquers’ Atomic Acts production at 7pm, with a musical theatre opening from our ORHS Theatre Class, it will be a dramatic evening of scenes from plays that will have you laughing and crying with direction from Amy Uptgraft and student assistant directors. Veteran and new student actors will come to life through the art of storytelling
Calling all talented artists 9-12 grades! Are you creative and love the Wildcat spirit? We’re excited to announce a Convocation Cover contest for the Class of 2026! Show off your artistic skills by designing a Wildcat-themed cover for our Convocation program.

Do you want to be a part of two decades of ORHS history? Host a German exchange student when they’re here for two weeks in September. If you’re interested, grab your parent and come to the information session on Monday, April 20th, at 6pm in the Amphitheatre. Questions before then? Stop by and see Kolodney in CS 213.
This week’s AP European History review session will be on Friday during 3rd period lunch in Mr. Pickering’s room, LC322. Lunch is provided.
This is just a reminder that Mr. Froning will be running an AP Statistics review tonight from 6:30 to 7:30. Mr. Froning will be focusing on Inference for Means and Proportions tonight, and snacks will be provided.
All students who have registered to take an AP exam this year must report to Roane State’s Goff Building with their device on Wednesday, April 22nd anytime between 2:00pm and 4:30pm to prepare their device for upcoming testing. This process should take approximately 10-15 minutes. To expedite this process, restart your computer before you arrive so it can perform updates.
Poetry Month dare: black out a page, win a prize. The Library’s Blackout Poetry Contest is open now — supplies at the desk, deadline April 17. Never heard of blackout poetry? That’s exactly why you should come see.

CLUB INFO
Bonjour! French Club will meet Thursday, April 16th from 3:15 to 4 PM in CS 312 Madame Pry’s room for Patisseries et Pétanque ! Merci!!
FCA will meet on Friday morning, April 17th, at 7:00 AM!! We will meet at Grace Baptist-Oak Ridge Campus (formerly Central Baptist) – directly across the street from the bus loop and arena at the high school. Doors open and refreshments begin at 7:00, and a message will begin at approximately 7:10. We will dismiss by 7:35. All are welcome!!! If you have any questions, contact Coach McKeethan (football/baseball coach).
The Interact Club will have their end of the year celebration after school Monday, April 20 in the amphitheater. Please join us for pizza, awards, and fellowship.
Join us for Photo Society meetings every other Monday at 3:15 in the Library classroom! We will discuss our photos for current projects, vote on which photos to be posted, and decide on new projects. Sharpen your swords, ready your spells, and prepare for adventure! We’ve got dragons to slay, treasures to find, and legends to create. Don’t miss out on the fun, the friends, and the fantastic stories waiting to be told.
Applications for the 2026-2027 Student Council Class are due tomorrow, April 17th to Mrs. Wagner or Mrs. Gilliland. This class is open to all members of the class of 2029. The class will meet during 3A each day next year and help amplify student voices and plan events for the entire student body. Applications are available in LC311 or on the Wildcat Canvas Hangout Page.
SENIORS
Seniors- this is a reminder that all outstanding technology fees must be paid in full prior to graduation. Payments can be made by cash or check in the main office. You should have received an email from “Incident IQ” stating your balance owed.
The English Department and PTSO cordially invite All Seniors to attend the 2026 Senior Tea. Tea, Lemonade, and homemade wonderful, tasty refreshments will be served. Dress as your favorite book character or author and you could win one of 6, $50 or $25 gift cards. There will also be 10 -$10 bills given as door prizes just for showing up. It is a wonderful way to start the end of your senior year. This traditional event is Wednesday, April 29th from 2:15-3:30 in the ORHS food court.
Seniors – big party – May 15th – 10pm to 5am – just for you! We call it Graduation Celebration! It’s completely FREE – food, games, prizes – with one caveat – well, two actually! First – graduate! You’ve got that part, right? Second – register for the party at graduationcelebration.org. If you will be under 18 on May 15th, you and your parents must also complete the GREEN Permission Form available from your homeroom teacher, Student Services and on the registration website. Everyone must register on the website, but only U18 students complete and return the form. If you know you are attending, please register now – if unsure, talk to friends/family/prior attendees – we always get great reviews! We need to know our numbers as we are making plans for how much of everything we need for you to have a FREE fabulous final fling with friends (yes, intentional alliteration!). All FREE thanks to donations and general support from your community! ORHS Graduation – definitely something to celebrate!
