Poetry Month dare: black out a page, win a prize. The Library’s Blackout Poetry Contest is open now — supplies at the desk, deadline April 17. Never heard of blackout poetry? That’s exactly why you should come see.
WOW—also known as Walk Over Wednesday is at St. Stephen’s Church every Wednesday! Juniors and Seniors with off campus lunch can enjoy a meal for just $3. it’s a great deal! Come enjoy a “homemade meal”.
Refunds will no longer be given from the vending machines from the office. If a card is used to purchase, information is listed on the machine to request refund.

Just a quick reminder that prom ticket sales start THIS WEEK! Here’s what you should know:
Tickets are $40 this week (they will be $50 next week). Sales will take place during third block at the Arena Concession Stand. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payment can be made with cash or check (made out to ORHS); no card 1payments accepted. Only upperclassmen may purchase tickets. Freshmen and sophomores may attend as a guest of an upperclassman, but cannot purchase tickets themselves. Outside guest forms will be available at the ticket sales counter. Please see Mrs. Royster with any questions!

Mr. Feuer will be offering AP Lit and Comp Exam reviews each Wednesday during third period beginning this Wednesday, 4/8. To reserve a spot, see Mr. Feuer in CS 319.
Mr. Froning will be running AP Statistics test reviews for the next four Thursdays in his classroom from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. The first review, this Thursday at 6:30, will focus on Units 1, 3 and 4 – One Variable Statistics, Data Collection, and Probability. Snacks will be provided!
If you are taking the AP Language test next month and need a refresher, come by Ms. Jordan’s room CS331 after school Wednesday 4/8 at 2:00PM for a review session.
Mr. Pickering is offering AP European History review sessions on Thursdays during 3rd period lunch in LC322. Lunch is provided.

Calling all leaders! This Friday, April 10th, come to the Student Council Leadership Breakfast. It will be in Mrs. Wagner’s room, LC311 at 7:15am. Stop by to learn more about running for student council and class officer positions, as well as how to apply for the student council 3A class.
FCA will meet on Friday morning, April 10th, at 7:00 AM!! We will meet at Grace Baptist-Oak Ridge Campus (formerly Central Baptist) – directly across the street from the bus loop and arena at the high school. Doors open and refreshments begin at 7:00, and a message will begin at approximately 7:10. We will dismiss by 7:35. All are welcome!!! If you have any questions, contact Coach McKeethan (football/baseball coach).
Want to represent your fellow student body? Do you want to suggest ideas on how to make your school environment a better place? Join Student Council in the amphitheater this Thursday, April 9th, during your 2nd block to voice your thoughts and concepts to create a better place for wildcats all around the school. You must already be a class representative to attend the meeting. And remember, you don’t need the power to make a change – just the courage to make a difference.
SENIORS
Attention graduating Seniors- this is a reminder that all outstanding technology fees must be paid in full prior to graduation. Payments can be made by cash or check in the main office. You should have received an email from “Incident IQ” stating your balance owed.
Seniors who have not picked up their cap & gown set: please do so immediately by going to CS347.
ATHLETICS.
Pre-season workouts are starting for any girl interested in trying out for the volleyball team. All girls are welcome and encouraged to attend workouts to prepare for the upcoming season. For more information, see Coach Ellis in LC222.
For students who are interested in joining the wrestling team there will be an interest meeting Thursday April 9th at 6pm in the Amphitheatre. If for some reason you are unable to attend or in another sport please contact Coach Bam @ ltthomas@ortn.edu
