AP Students, The Spring AP Exam Payment Window will open Monday, February 2nd and close on Monday, March 2nd at 11:59pm. This year AP exams are $102/exam. If you are taking more than three exams, your fourth and subsequent exams will be $40/exam. A $40 late fee will apply for those students who want to pay for a fall or yearlong class. If you qualified for reduced/free lunch last year, you may qualify for a fee reduction of $15 per exam. To see if you qualify, your Parent/Guardian must contact Ms. Milligan at jmmilligan2@ortn.edu to verify eligibility and receive a registration code before paying for the exam(s) online. It’s the week you’ve been waiting for in your library’s Snack Down bracket challenge. We started with 16 snacks and now just two remain. Who will win? The sweet or the salty? Only time will tell…time and you! Get your last votes in now by stopping by the display case and scanning the QR code. Which snack will go down in history as the inaugural Snack Food Smack Down winner? We’ll find out at the end of the week!

CLUB INFO
Enough with the cold and snowy weather already! The next week looks better and it’s time to think about cleaning up your bike for spring riding season. Motorcycle club will meet Tuesday, 2/10 during 3A. We’ll be taking our yearbook photo, so if you can ride that day just pull into the bus loop by 11:10. If you’re not riding you can walk up and join us!
Rocket club will meet Tuesday 2/10 at 3:10 in Ms Fairfax’s room, LC210. It’s yearbook picture day, so wear your space nerd shirt and be on time!
Whether you’re Muslim or simply curious to learn more about different cultures, you’re invited to join us! Come be part of a community that celebrates diversity and harmony at our school! Muslim Harmony Club meets on Tuesdays after school in Mrs. Billings classroom LC335 from 3:15-4:15.
FCA will meet on Friday morning, February 13th, at 7:00 AM!! We will meet at Grace Baptist-Oak Ridge Campus (formerly Central Baptist) – directly across the street from the bus loop and arena at the high school. Doors open and refreshments begin at 7:00, and a message will begin at approximately 7:10. We will dismiss by 7:35. All are welcome!!! If you have any questions, contact Coach McKeethan (football/baseball coach).
There will be a School Wide Student Council meeting this Thursday, February 12th in the amphitheater starting at the beginning of 2nd period. Concern forms will be given to teachers on Tuesday in your second block. Class representatives should bring these completed forms with them to the meeting. This your chance to make your voice heard.
