Have you seen the showcase outside the library?! It’s packed with PEEPS and we want to know — how many do YOU think are in there? Make your best guess with the QR code on the showcase for a chance to win ALL THE CANDY in there. The closest guess takes home the whole sugary haul. Contest ends April 10 — don’t wait! Stop by, take a good look, and submit your guess. It could be the sweetest win of your spring!

Words are everywhere. Now cross some out. Celebrate National Poetry Month by entering the Library’s Blackout Poetry Contest and turn any page into art — prizes included. Supplies + info in the library. Deadline: April 17.

The ORHS Business Academy will be open for business TODAY after school! Intro to Business students present their entrepreneurial skills as they present their products or services for a limited time! Come check them out at our opening today after school.

Working smoke alarms save lives, cutting the risk of dying in a home fire in half by having working smoke alarms in the home.

  • Install smoke alarms in every sleeping room, outside each separate sleeping area, and on every level of the home including the basement.
  • Test smoke detectors monthly.
  • Smoke alarms must be replaced every 10 years.
  • Change the batteries twice a year or when the detector chirps indicating a low battery.
  • Make sure everyone in the home understands the sound of the smoke alarm. When you hear a smoke alarm, get outside and stay outside according to your home fire safety plan.
