Review session 2 for the AP Physics exams will be held Tuesday 4/7 from 7:15-7:45. This week’s session will focus on Kinematics and Dynamics. We’ll review Energy and Momentum on 4/14 and Experimental Design on 4/21. Physics C students should come prepared for FRQ practice.

Have you seen the showcase outside the library?! It’s packed with PEEPS and we want to know — how many do YOU think are in there? Make your best guess with the QR code on the showcase for a chance to win ALL THE CANDY in there. The closest guess takes home the whole sugary haul. Contest ends April 10 — don’t wait! Fulfill your TNPromise Hours volunteering at the Atomic City Shootout. The link will be in the iNews and Canvas pages. Soccer Club of Oak Ridge is recruiting student volunteers for the ATOMIC CITY SHOOTOUT, April 11 and 12th for time blocks from 8:00 am – 6:30 pm. The volunteer responsibilities are straightforward and primarily involve monitoring games, directing spectators, and recording scores. Accurately reporting scores is a vital part of the tournament, as it determines team advancements. If you are interested, the sign-up forms are located on class Canvas pages.
The ORHS Business Academy will be open for business on April 6th! Intro to Business students present their entrepreneurial skills as they present their products or services for a limited time! Come check them out at our opening on April 6th right after school until 4pm, at our Business Expo on Thursday, April 16th or online anytime until May 1st at orhs-businessacademy.com.
CLUB INFO
No joke! Rocket club will meet tomorrow immediately after school in Ms Fairfax’s room, LC210. We will work on rockets for our launch-o-rama, prepare for our next community event and discuss purchases for our upcoming competition. Be there or the joke’s on you!
Interact will meet after school in the amphitheater Monday 4/6 to start planning for the 26-27 school year. We will meet until 4pm.
Are you interested in joining our school’s student council or running for an office position? Do you enjoy eating breakfast? If so, then please join us at the student council leadership breakfast Friday April 10th at 7:15 am in Mrs. Wagner’s room (LC311). Enjoy a meal and some information about how to run for office or join the Student Council class for the 2026-2027 school year.
SENIORS
Seniors! Welcome back for the final push to graduation! Your FREE Graduation Celebration Party is well under way – just needs you! Everyone must register online at www.graduationcelebration.org to attend. If you will be under 18 at graduation, you and your parents must also complete a hard copy, updated, Permission Slip/Release Form which is available in Student Services, from most senior homeroom teachers and also on the Graduation Celebration website. It is a green form!
Check out the website and register by, or on, Wednesday, April 1st, to be entered in an Early Bird Prize Drawing at the party. We will be there to help with any registration issues and to answer questions. Graduation Celebration Definition – Free all-night party with food, friends, games, transportation, prizes and unlimited access to Main Event!
Graduation supplies should be picked up TODAY in CS347 during lunch 3rd block. Tassels may also be purchased for $12—bring exact cash only.
ATHLETICS.
Preseason workouts are starting for any girl interested in trying out for the volleyball team. All girls are welcome and encouraged to attend workouts to prepare for the upcoming season. For more information, see Coach Ellis in LC222.
