ELPA testing will start the week of February 2nd and continue through the week of February 23rd.

 

Can you believe fruit beat cookies? Or that Goldfish beat Doritos? We’re down to just two sweet snacks and two salty ones and the competition is fierce in your library snack down! Scan the QR code at the display case to stop the madness and let your voices be heard.

 

The library just leveled up! We’ve added 27 BRAND NEW manga series! You’re invited to the Manga Reveal Party on Friday, February 6, During 3b, on the Manga side of the library. Come to win door prizes, snag some giveaways, and be among the first to check out the new books. Important twist: To get in, you’ll need a Manga Party Ticket.  Stop by the library any time between now and February 6 to pick one up. No ticket = no entry = major regret. Don’t miss it—your next favorite manga is waiting.

 

Juniors & Seniors with off campus lunch can walk over to First United Methodist Church every Thursday for lunch.

 

Juniors, applications for DE Nursing and DE Clinical Internship for next year will be available starting Monday 2/2 in CS 200.  The window for applications is only open for two weeks! Please see Mrs. Wick with any questions.

 

Girls in the Class of 2027, be sure to check your Canvas Announcements and Parent Square for more information about Girls State. February 6th is the deadline to request a nomination from Ms. Ottinger.

 

AP Students, The Spring AP Exam Payment Window will open Monday, February 2nd and close on Monday, March 2nd  at 11:59pm. This year AP exams are $102/exam.  If you are taking more than three exams, your fourth and subsequent exams will be $40/exam.

A $40 late fee will apply for those students who want to pay for a fall or yearlong class.  If you qualified for reduced/free lunch last year, you may qualify for a fee reduction of $15 per exam.  To see if you qualify, your Parent/Guardian must contact Ms. Milligan at  jmmilligan2@ortn.edu to verify eligibility and receive a registration code before paying for the exam(s) online.    AP Digital Payment Platform website is  http://aptsusa.com/oakridge
