Fire Safety Announcement-Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a gas you cannot see, taste, or smell. It is often called “the invisible killer”. It is created when fossil fuels such as kerosene, gasoline, coal, natural gas, propane, methane, or wood don’t burn completely. CO gas kills people and pets.
Headaches, nausea, and drowsiness are symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. Exposure can be fatal. CO alarms shall be installed outside each sleeping area and on every level of the home. Follow manufacturer’s instructions for placement and mounting height. Test CO detectors monthly and replace if they fail to respond. If CO alarm sounds, immediately exit per your home escape plan and call 911. Do not go back until the fire department personnel declare it is safe to re-enter the home.

Want to SHRED for the holidays? Put SKI CLUB on your wish list to Santa, because we are going to Sugar Mountain on January 19th. Forms are available from Mr. Jarnigan, and on the Ski Club bulletin board in the LC 200 hallway. Deadline to sign up is January 12th.
Happy New Year!! FCA will meet on Friday morning, January 9th, at 7:00 AM!! We will meet at Grace Baptist-Oak Ridge Campus (formerly Central Baptist) – directly across the street from the bus loop and arena at the high school. Doors open and refreshments begin at 7:00, and a message will begin at approximately 7:10. We will dismiss by 7:35. All are welcome!!! If you have any questions, contact Coach McKeethan (football/baseball coach).
A warm and sunny January is the perfect time to get out on 2 wheels! Join us for Motorcycle club on Tuesday, January 13, 3A in Ms Fairfax’s room, LC210 for all things motorcycle related! We’ll finish checking out the new 2026 bikes as well as finalize our request for the first 2 of our 3 designated bike parking spots. Check the bulletin board outside LC210 for more info!
Welcome to 2026! It’s a great time to join Rocket Club! Our first meeting of the new year will be Tuesday, January 13 after school in Ms Fairfax’s room, LC210. We’ll be putting together presentations for the middle 黄瓜视频 and starting builds for our first round of launches. Everyone is welcome- come blast off with us!
Our first German Club of the year 2026 will be this Monday, the 12th of January at 3:15 in Mrs Nebenfuehr’s room CS301. We will have cookies and good conversations.
Muslim Harmony Club is excited to welcome ALL students who want to learn, connect, and build community. We explore Islamic culture, values, and history while creating a space for open dialogue and respect. Whether you’re Muslim or simply curious to learn more about different cultures, you’re invited to join us! Come be part of a community that celebrates diversity and harmony at our school! We meet on Tuesdays after school in Mrs. Billings classroom LC335 from 3:15-4:15.
