STEM Snowman Challenge Winners!
Congratulations to all the winners of the 2nd Annual 4th Grade STEM Biggest Snowman Challenge! All of our groups did a great job using their engineering minds to create their snowmen; not to mention a lot of fun was had as well!
100 Days of K!
Glenwood kindergarten classes celebrated their 100th day of school! The students participated in a lot of fun learning activities surrounding the number 100. They also got to enjoy 100 little treats!
Glenwood to Receive Official Arbor Day Tree
Glenwood Elementary School has been selected to receive the official Oak Ridge Arbor Day Tree this year. A special planting ceremony will be held on the Glenwood playground on March 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. We will plant a Silver Maple that will provide shade for students, teachers, and neighborhood families for years to come.
The Book Fair is Coming!
The spring Scholastic book fair will be held during the week of February 11-15, 2019. This year’s theme is Dino-Mite Book Fair: Stomp, Chomp, and READ! More information will be sent home with students in the coming weeks.

Winter Farmers Market visits Glenwood
The fine folks from Grow Oak Ridge visited Glenwood today. Students were able to sample spinach and meet Charity, a local sheep!
